Coding and the Four C

Integrate coding. Foster Creativity. Win a free code kit!

Coding is an essential 21st century language, but coding alone won’t be enough to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s careers. What students are able to DO with code will be what matters. Students will need to be creative problem-solvers in order to truly be ready for whatever lies ahead.

Join us for a special webinar panel on integrating coding & the Four Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity). Meet our panelists!

Mimi Ito, Ph.D.: Professor in Residence and MacArthur Foundation Chair in Digital Media and Learning at UC Irvine. She also serves as Research Director of the Digital Media and Learning Research Hub and as Chair of the Connected Learning Research Network.

Ayah Bdeir: littleBits Founder & CEO, MIT Media Lab graduate, interactive artist, and one of the leaders of the Maker Movement.

Allyssa Loya: All-star librarian and educator from Rockwall, TX who believes it’s her job to present kids with any opportunity that makes them future-ready. She'll also talk about the success she's had with coding in her makerspace.
